Long ago on a drive with a friend, I was holding onto a plastic wrapper from a snack I had while we were in the car. I’d asked him to pull over if any dumpster came along the way. “Just throw it outside the window!”, he said. “This city’s anyway polluted with crap around us everywhere!”

Fear does not prevent death. It prevents life”. What are we afraid of? Maybe we’re scared to risk starting over- move to a new country to probably end up feeling homesick, or leave a dead end job that paid the bills to much rather invest capital in a new venture that may tank.

Can’t believe I’ve been in Nepal for a month now! Looking back on the number of places I’ve visited and the range of emotions I’ve experienced in this time, it amazes me how time seemed to slow down the moment I decided to let go of the need for full control every step of the way.

I’m so stoked to have successfully trekked the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC)! All the more since this was the first trek of my life, undertaken without a plan or preparation! Sure as hell, I underestimated the level of difficulty I’d signed up for. But in the end, it was worth every struggle, physically, mentally and emotionally.
